i know its way too early for a christmas party but nevertheless, we had ours! this is my 1st time organising a party so everything seemed quite interesting to me.our preparation started last week, fenni, mad n i took down all the prices for the food.then we had this 'angel n mortal' way of exchanging presents.my angel was ruohan who gave me a sweet-looking necklace which i love it v much.thank u rh! my mortal was madeleine n i gave her a necklace too.
we over estimated the amount of food that our stomach can hold cuz the amount of food we bought was way too much.i reckon we can feed 10 African children with all the leftovers.ok la, exaggerating, but i'm sure it can feed at least 5.but the food was heavenly, really v nice, remind u guys again, WE cooked it.haha.i shall list down all the food we had:
1. meatball spaghetti with nice tomato sauce (the tomato costs $9 plus!! i think it dropped from heaven)
2. shepherd's pie made by sheena
3. fruits salad (fresh honeydew, apples, grapes n nata de coco)
4. 2 roast chickens-we didnt cook this though
5. mozzarella cheese wrapped in dumplings skin
6. campbell's soup (chicken n cream of mushroom)
oh ya, our roast chicken caught fire in the microwave oven!! lol.n i was the 1 who put it in the oven la.fenni n rh had a good laugh over this becuz they said that i was v calm as in my tone was v calm still with no high pitches.refer to ruohan's blog for a gd description of this incident cuz it's a bit weird for me to describe how funny it was when i was the 1 who made this a funny thing.i cant possibly be laughing at myself right.n u can see the whole cooking process at her blog too. =) after the dinner we were pigging out on snacks n drank sprite mixed with a little bit of vodka.it tasted like normal sprite to me but i felt so warm after drinking it.
mad n i escorted fenni n rh to the bus stop n MAD WAS STILL WEARING THE CHRISTMAS HAT! so funny la.haha.she actually wore the hat out all the way to the bus stop.
ann-marie n i stayed over at mad's house, we watched 'just like heaven' while pigging on snacks n soft drinks.my stomach felt as if it will burst any moment.i wonder how many days will i need to shed those fats off.but i think it's worth it cuz we really had a good time.oh ya, thanks girls for being my models for my photo essay! =)
